Pepper sat, unsually, by the warren. She had decided not to go out to the cliff today, because she was feeling extremely tired today; she had stayed out almost all night on the cliff. Nibbling n the grass constantly, her mind was were it usually was - in the clouds. Her plump body hopped forwards occasionally, Searching for sweeter grass.
'Two big rabbits were on top of a small rabbit, it was kicking and squealing as the two bigger rabbits clawed at it, raking their claws across its fur. Pepper lost no time, bounded forward, and knocked the bigger one down, rak-'
Pepper was thinking about what she loved to think about. being the hero. saving someone.
'-ing her claws down his ear, and then tearing at it with her teeth. He ran off, squealing like a kit. She turned to the bigger one, and had a shock at finding him right behind her, rearing up. She quickly dodged to the left, and he landed on empty space. She then quickly climbed into his back, and bit his neck, hard. He squealed in pain, and struggled to get free.
Pepper growled at him.
"That's for beating him up." She said, then flipping him over onto his back, raking her claws down.
"That's for being a dick."
She then set him on his paws, then kicking his rump with her back legs as hard as she could, sending him flying forwards.
"That's for being as stupid as to letting em see what you were doing." He whimpered, and scampered off into the bushes.
"Are you alright?" She asked the small scrap of fur she had just saved.'
She replayed the last bit of the scene over and over again, savoring it. She savoured the way she looked, as she stood before the small rabbit, great, brave, strong...
and then came back to earth, remembering she was just a small, fat, impossible rabbit with stupid daydreams. Sure, she'd driven off a couple rouges off Naranthan territory, but she had gotten lucky.
'they were twice your size. And remember the time you saved that Owsla officer?' Said a small kind voice.
Pepper sighed.
'Im not as good as Oakfoot, am I?'
'Of course not! you've had no training that's my point.'
Pepper rolled her eyes at the voice, but deep down, she was grateful for it. It made her feel better.
So she kept daydreaming, savoring the picture of who she wanted to be.
