Joker laughed again.
"Hardly. Its just that my chief is so fat and stupid, it can't penetrate his thick skull."
"Well, you'd better follow me. We have to really run to get out of the exit, again. Get ready." He readied his self, checked his position, and bolted for the exit. He felt steel jaws snapping at his feet, but he was already in the open.
"Come on! get a really good run up. See that spot with all the scuff marks? Run form there." He then stood back, and waited for her to burst through the exit. She did suddenly break through, and the steel jaws snapped at her legs, but they didn't trap her. He waited until she was int he open, hadd gathered her surroundings, and sprinted forwards,. He suddenly remebered something, and skidded to a halt, he turned towards her.
"You don't smell like us." It was a statement. A fact. "We'll have to make a small detour." he said, smiling apologetically.
"My friends'll help me out." He set off again, a bit lower this time, and then they arrived to am meadow. Rabbits could be seen, grazing peacefully.
"Wait here." He told here, and slipped through the trees, sidling up to a large brown rabbit.
"Almond! I need your help!" Almond 's eyes widened, and he turned sharply to look at Joker, startled. Joker chuckled, and Almond relaxed immediately.
"Whaddya need?" He asked curiously.
"Well, theres this doe..." Almonds eyes bulged.
"Again?!" the grey Buck gasped, as Joker sighed irritably.
"No! Look. She isn't from the warren." Almonds expression shifted from exasperation complete understanding. He nodded. "And you want to sneak her in." He completed for him.
"Yeah."
"You need our scent."
"Yeah."
"You know what would be the consequences would be if we were caught?"
"Yeah."
"Are you sure you want to?"
"Yeah." Almond sighed and laughed. He stood, speaking as he did so. "I'll get the others." He disappeared into the bushes, Joker staying, grazing grass peacefully. Suddenly, there were four rabbits beside him, grazing as well. No one had noticed this smal exchange.
A large grey one whispered at Joker "Show us where she is." It was pretty obvious they'd done this a million times. and not just for Joker. They all slipped into the bushes, all talking as they went along.
"You had better have a back up plan, Joker. Ill slit your throat if you dont."
"I'll slit yours right back."
"Not if you're dead you wont."
"Exactly."
All of the rabbits started laughing. Joker made a small playful swipe at the grey one's throat, and the grey one parried it easily, and used jokers own paw to swipe his ear. It connected, and a few small rips appeared in jokers ear, not deep, but there. They all laughed again. They then reached the place Joker had left Eyei, he smiled at her, and the other rabbits smiled at her as well.
"So. You want to sneak into our meeting, eh?" A black one asked. "Good. We needed excitement. First, you need a cover story. I'm your uncle." He said, and winked at her. Joker nudged him hard, and he fell, and they became involved in a small scuffle.
"Ill be her brother!" a quite small white rabbit with brown eyes spoke up, smiling.
"The rest of you know the drill." Said the black one, underneath a playfully snarling Joker.
"Just go along with what they say, and you'll be fine. Now. Who shall have the pleasure of starting the riot?" He asked politely, sill underneath Joker, who had his teeth in his neck. The black one growled, and swiped at his face, Joker stepped back, and grinned at him, the small scuffle was over. He then walked over to Eyei, and he stuck close.
"There. Our scents should cover yours." He then started to walk forwards slowly, and his friends dropped a pace or two behind respectfully.
"Sorry about them." He whispered. "Stick close." And they neared the warren.
As they reached the warren, and officer stood in front if him.
"Joker? Who is this?" Joker looked confused.
"Sir?"
"The doe." Joker laughed, looking down at Eyei.
"Sir? Don't you know her? This is my doe." He said, as the officer looked embarrassed, stepped aside, and they were in the gloom of the burrow.
